Denouement in pine trees

This is my attempt to pull free from my need to have disclaimers. My goal is to stop running from abstractions, fears, hypotheticals, and the truth to eventually help others in this same situation. In order to do this, an extraction (exorcism?) is crucial. Unfortunately, short of hiring an actual priest, the traditional methods did not work for me. I’ve done this before and I can’t outrun it. All roads lead to the written word.

I also need to stay brutally honest and tell a story with no clear hero or villain. No one is perfectly evil or innocent and I hope I make that fact perfectly clear in my posts. Paradoxically, keeping a promise to stay truthful at all costs is difficult at best, especially in writing a semi-memoir… I will attempt to keep my creative liberties to a minimum.

For the first time I will stand on my unsteady feet and revisit that journey through Hell. Virgil led me this far and it is up to me to continue moving forward.
